One material becomes a family of precise furniture elements across three floors.
Bamboo stretches into a flush wall for storage, toilet and reading at ground level. Full-height doors and a bed closet organise the children's floor, while restrained bamboo details connect the calm top-floor bedroom, bathroom and home office.
A calmer family
Years of step-by-step alterations had made the house visually noisy. A loved bamboo cabinet and kitchen top become the starting point for a coherent family of furniture, varied carefully on every floor.
One long wall
At ground level, bamboo stretches into a completely flush full-length wall containing wardrobe, toilet, children's nook, storage and a reading place. Openings and handles are cut directly from the surface.
A shared nest
Three children's rooms receive frameless, full-height bamboo doors. Between them, a bed closet combines storage, a guest bed and a shared perch, with vertical lines concealing the integrated handles.
Quieter upstairs
Bamboo becomes more restrained on the top floor. Hazy white cabinetry matches the sheer curtains, while bamboo returns in bathroom niches, cut-out handles and a concealed desk that converts the bedroom into a daytime office.
