House en-suite

A contemporary en-suite divides a 1930s rowhouse with smart, colourful objects.
Kitchen cabinets form two distinct living rooms and hide the toilet, storage basement and circulation. Upstairs, bedrooms connect through concealed bathrooms and colourful cabinetry, while the widened staircase doubles as a place to play.
A new en-suite
Kitchen cabinets reinterpret the traditional room divider at the heart of the ground floor. They create distinct places for dining and relaxing while surrounding the toilet and hiding the route to basement storage. Noble grey and blue give the object a calm presence.
The children's floor
Two large bedrooms connect through a shared bathroom concealed inside cabinetry. Opening the cupboards reveals strong contrasting colours, while the widened staircase turns circulation into a playground.
A room at the top
Bathroom elements, installations and a walk-in wardrobe wrap the attic stair and make use of every dormer height. The bed sits within a cabinet wall hiding the air-conditioning unit, while a freestanding bath makes the top floor a private retreat.
